Important legal notice and disclaimer: artistic manipulation
The dataset, information, files, and associated media provided under this License (collectively, the “Data”) consist of field measurements that have been manually adjusted, altered, fabricated, and manipulated for artistic and creative purposes.
The Data does not accurately reflect real-world physical measurements, signal presence, or technical realities. Specifically, the manual manipulations within this Data may easily create the false impression or misinterpretation that a particular wireless service, frequency, or network is inactive, unavailable, or “not in use” when it actually is active and operational.
This Data is completely unfit for technical, regulatory, forensic, or legal analysis.
1. Permitted uses
Subject to the terms and conditions of this License, the Licensor hereby grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to:
- Access, download, view, and use the Data for personal, artistic, research, or educational purposes.
- Share, copy, and redistribute the Data in any medium or format, provided that you preserve this License and the accompanying Disclaimer in its entirety.
2. Strict prohibition on mandatory or voluntary legal use (non-cooperation)
By accessing or using this Data, you explicitly agree to the following evidentiary and non-cooperation restrictions:
- No voluntary submission: You shall not voluntarily submit, introduce, offer, reference, or leverage this Data, or any portion thereof, as evidence, expert testimony, or factual support in any lawsuit, civil litigation, class action, arbitration, criminal proceeding, or regulatory investigation against any individual, corporation, or entity.
- No collaboration against third parties: You are strictly prohibited from cooperating with, volunteering data to, or assisting any third party, government agency, or litigant seeking to use this Data to prove or disprove the operational status, quality, coverage, or legality of any wireless service or network.
- Duty of truthful characterization under compulsion: If you are legally compelled by a court order, valid subpoena, or government mandate to testify or provide information regarding this Data, you must provide a copy of this License to the tribunal and explicitly state on the official record that the Data is an intentionally manipulated, inaccurate artistic asset unfit for legal or technical reliance.
3. Third-party claims and indemnification
If you breach Section 2 and introduce this Data into a legal proceeding, or if your misuse of this Data draws the Licensor into a third-party legal dispute, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Licensor from any and all damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising out of or related to that legal proceeding.
4. No warranty and limitation of liability
THE DATA IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR OR COPYRIGHT HOLDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE DATA OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE DATA.
